SGU is served by SkyWest Airlines, which operates codeshare flights on behalf of American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. Locals may not realize that SkyWest, one of the largest regional airlines in the world, is actually headquartered right here in St. George — a nice bit of hometown pride for a company whose planes you'll see at airports across the country.

Current nonstop destinations from SGU include:

• Salt Lake City — the airport's busiest route by far, with frequent daily service
• Denver
• Phoenix
• Dallas-Fort Worth
• Los Angeles
• Chicago — a seasonal route running roughly June through September

From any of these hub airports, connections open up to destinations across the country and around the world, so a trip that starts in St. George can end up just about anywhere.

A Small Airport That Feels Easy

Part of what locals love about SGU is exactly what you'd expect from a smaller regional airport: it's fast and low-stress. Everything runs through a single, modern terminal, so there's no long trek between gates. Parking is close, security lines are short compared to major hubs, and the airport sits only about a mile from downtown St. George, making it one of the most convenient regional airports in the Southwest for both getting away and coming home.

The terminal includes a handful of cafes and shops, Wi-Fi throughout, an observation area, and car rental services on site, along with a lounge option for travelers who want a bit more comfort before boarding.

Room to Grow

St. George's population boom hasn't gone unnoticed by the airport. A roughly $10 million terminal expansion and infrastructure project is underway to keep pace with rising passenger traffic and to support the addition of new routes and carriers over time.
