Max interrupting the writing of this email for some rubs…
Realtors -
I've had 45 documented real estate conversations in the last week…here's what I learned.
Last week I encouraged my Finish Strong group to have 50 conversations this week.
As of 7:42 AM MST, I've had approximately 45 documented conversations with leads, my database, etc.
I scheduled 3 appointments based on those conversations.
In making and documenting those conversations, I was reminded of something important....
Before I tell you what that is, some setup:
Because I was traveling part of Thursday to PHX for a
Place Owner's event, in that event
all of Friday, and enjoying family time there Saturday, I lost a lot of time.
I also never lead generate on Sundays.
I'm also running a team of 17 amazing people, will close 3 listing sales this month, and manage the other day-to-day details most of us face.
So what was I reminded of?
In the words of Brendon Burchard, who we heard in the private
Place forum last week, "
we don't just end up somewhere."
Read that again. Maybe 10x. We didn't just “end up” where we are today. Our health, the number of deals we closed this year, and our happiness levels.
I had to be very, very, VERY focused to make and document a measly 45 conversations.
I had to wedge them between flights, kids, coaching my team, and coaching you. I had to say "no" to things that felt pressing and useful but wouldn't move the needle.
When Brendon opened our call by saying, "We don't just end up somewhere", I nearly fell out of my chair. An absolute bomb.
Have you felt that you just "ended up" where you are today in your business and life? Me too.
It's not true. Every action we took and decision we made with our time brought us here.
Are you willing, and most importantly, ready to make different decisions?
Go make an impact today,
-Jeremy
PS - If you were to change one single action between now and the end of December to “Finish Strong”, what would that be?
