The old nail in the tire…
Friends -
The clock was ticking. Eagle Point's fresh powder was calling. 18" of untouched snow and we were racing for first chair…then I saw the screw in the tire…
You see, Eagle Point Resort, located 18 miles east of Beaver, is only open Friday through Monday…
This means that if it snows between Monday and Thursday, Friday visitors get the most declious, untouched “greatest snow on earth” imaginable. They call it “Powder Friday.”
This kind of virgin snow makes skiers 
and boarders 
weak in the knees!
You know that feeling when something AMAZING is just within reach? Like finding a dream home before it hits the market or scoring front-row Jazz tickets at face value?
There it was, a deflating tire. Right there in my driveway. Crap!
Already running an hour late (as usual), I could feel my perfect powder day evaporating faster than morning dew in July. The universe was clearly testing my patience.
Enter Donovan at Big-O Tire (St. George Blvd. location), my unexpected hero. Fifteen minutes flat and I was back on the road. FIFTEEN MINUTES!
The man should wear a cape 
. Instead he has the aroma of car tires soaked into his pores. Maybe it pays well?
