Sunday (on Monday) Snapshot: Masters ⛳ Meltdown Real Estate Lessons
Wow!
Is anyone else still recovering from yesterday's Masters madness? My Dad and I were beside ourselves with anxiety watching it all unfold.
What began as an epic duel between Dechambeau and McIlroy quickly turned into a rollercoaster of emotions.
After Bryson caved, it looked like Rory was cruising to victory. "He's got a 5 shot lead, he can't screw this up! Then – plot twist! – McIlroy started to crumble.
You could practically feel his nervous system short-circuiting with each swing. Or was it mine?….
Several snafus let Justin Rose back into the match, including that heart-stopping botched final hole putt that would've clinched the Masters!

Max wondering why on earth I'm acting like a maniac right now….
Instead, they headed to a playoff hole where Rory finally (and mercifully) sealed the deal.
This golf drama is eerily similar to what is happening in the Real Estate market.
When your home first hits the market, there's this magical 14-day window where excitement and buyer interest peak. Those first two weeks are your championship
Sunday.
The stats don't lie. Homes that receive offers in the first 14 days typically sell for 3-5% MORE than homes lingering beyond that initial excitement phase.
After that? Interest drops faster than Bryson's position on the leaderboard.
Why? Because in both golf and real estate, momentum drives everything.
Fresh listings create urgency. Stale listings raise questions. "What's wrong with it?" becomes the whisper among buyers when they see a home that's been sitting.
Speaking of home sales…
91 homes sold in the Washington County MLS last week, ranging from $109,500 to $3,210,500.
It's fascinating to see which properties flew off the market and which ones lingered like McIlroy's missed 72nd hole putt on the lip of the cup.
