Kicked out of Doggy Daycare
Why a new approach may be necessary to sell your home.

My 3-legged Lab, Max (affectionately known as “Max the Tripawd”), was kicked out of doggy daycare earlier this year.
Yes, that sweet boy (on the right) above…
He had been attending for about 6 months when I got the awkward call.
“Mr. Larkin? This is ___ from (daycare location). Max appears to have been causing problems with a specific Golden, taunting her and being aggressive. We're afraid you'll need to come pick him up.”
I'm unsure if it was better or worse than getting the call from my kids' school, but it was undoubtedly odd!
I felt sheepish that my dog was apparently a “bad boy,” and I was annoyed and overwhelmed at needing to find a new daycare.
What I didn't see coming was the gift of his expulsion…
Ten days later, I learned that another daycare was just two blocks from my office, a full 20-minute round trip easier than the other.
When I took Max to see the place, it was love at first sight for all. He and I periodically walk there from our office on Tabernacle!
“Jeremy, is this a promo for the Doggy Daycare?”…..
No. They don't even know I'm writing this,

Six months later, I routinely get told that he is one of their “favorite, most well-behaved dogs.” Every employee there enthusiastically greets him by name when he comes and goes.
