1. Things you love about your town:

I love how quiet and slow-paced Hurricane is without feeling secluded/cut-off from the conveniences of nearby St. George. There are great local restaurants/coffee shops, plenty of parks/conveniences, and it is fantastic being so close to both Springdale/Zion and St. George.

2. Tell us something about your neighborhood:

There are so many trees. You can always hear the birds in the morning and even in the hotter months you're bound to have shade. Our neighbors are friendly and quiet. We have a good mix of both young and mature families as well as retirees. The neighborhood is made up of several cul-de-sacs so traffic is never a concern.

3. Grocery Stores, Gas Stations, hospitals or any other "conveniences":

Less than 5 minutes away we have a Lin's, Walgreens, Anytime Fitness, several local coffee shops/restaurants, parks, and more... We also have our own Intermountain Healthcare Clinic and plenty of Hurricane based medical, dental, etc... What I am most sad to leave is River Rock Roasting Company (local coffee shop with great food/coffee and a spectacular view).

4. What specifically drew you to the property?

I remember how great the cul-de-sac felt when we first visited this home. Lined with mature trees filled with birds chirping, and the mountain view being lit up by the early morning sun, it really stood out from the other properties we had been shown. The space was great and the home felt spacious and open (it had the great room/dining/kitchen open floor plan we had been searching for). The thing that really sold us was the mature trees (shade canopy), the huge sunroom/playroom with tons of natural light coming in, and the large grassy yard for the kids to play in.

5. Hobbies in the area?

We love to go walking in the mornings, play at the park(s) right down the street, and go out to River Rock Roasting Company for cinnamon rolls, coffee, and other treats. We really enjoy going up for a half-day in Springdale and walking around, visiting shops and getting treats.

6. Anything else?

A few other things we should mention are: The kitchen has a walk-in pantry, an abundance of extra tall/upgraded cabinetry, as well as a 3x5 granite island; The built-in breakfast nook/bench seat is great, especially for family gatherings; The playroom/sunroom is huge (350+ sqft.) with new tile/paint, lots of windows, and french doors to the back patio; Our water bill is always low thanks to the irrigation water which the sprinkler systems are hooked up to.
