1. Things you love about your town:       

                 There are so many things I love about St. George!! The weather is beautiful YEAR ROUND and cold weather is rare. Like to hike? You've got Snow Canyon in the winter, Zion National Park is best in the spring and fall, and head to Pine Valley to enjoy milder temps in the summer. This place is ideal for biking, hiking and running with trails galore. Like the water? There are multiple reservoirs at your disposal within 20 minutes. You like snow - even though you won't have to shovel before going to work in the morning, some of the best snowboarding and skiing is only 45 minutes away at Brian Head. Really, we do have it ALL! St George is small enough that it's great to raise a family, and traffic is minimal while big enough that the schools are well funded (and rated as some of the best in the state) and there is plenty of entertainment if the outdoors aren't "your thing". The air is clean, the scenery is BEAUTIFUL, and the people are friendly. Oh, and nothing in St George takes longer than 15 minutes to get to - if you're coming from out of town, it sure is a treat!  

2. Tell us something about your neighborhood:

                 Bloomington is especially nice because of all the mature landscaping - so many beautiful trees. Also, there are multiple trails that I can walk to from my house. Each house is it's own unique design - no cookie cutter houses here! I especially like being in the cul-de-sac. Our kids would ride their bikes and play with the other kids and all the neighbors would watch out for one another - not to mention the view of the red mountain from the circle and the sunrises in the morning. The neighborhood has a country club and golf course with in walking distance - you can go over for a game of golf, swim in the pool, or a great full-service dinner. It's close enough to the freeway that I can be off and headed to Salt Lake or Las Vegas within a matter of minutes, but not so close that I hear the rumble of the cars. It's like being secluded yet connected to the world at the same time!            

3. Grocery Stores, Gas Stations, hospitals or any other "conveniences":  

                 Shopping is great with multiple large grocery stores within a 5 minute drive. To "head into town" for more of your household items and clothing is only a ten minute drive (and did I say traffic is practically non-existent?). Going out to eat, there are several options at multiple country clubs, several fine dining, and more family restaurants than I can count. You want more shopping, dining, and entertainment choices but don't want the mess of living in big cities? Lucky for all of us in St George, Las Vegas is a quick trip for a night out where you can grab a meal and see a show only to leave it all behind and come back home to chill.           

4. What specifically drew you to the property?  

                 What really drew us to this house was the size. It was the perfect size for our growing family. We had all the space we needed with the 2 family rooms yet it was small enough that our utilities were always low. The yard is huge and we've done so much over the years - fires and s'mores, gardening, resting in the nook surrounded by the grape vines. The view from the driveway is one of my favorite things from the moment I got there - still to this day I admire the sunrises and the beautiful red mountain. Also, this house is elevated higher than all those around me - which means it will NEVER flood - and deserts can be notorious for that. Being tucked away in our cozy cul-de-sac, I always knew my family would be safe and have all we needed in this perfect house and know it'll be the same for the next family.

5. Hobbies in the area?

                 I've always loved the trails and use them daily. My kids always have plenty to do to play outside. And when we want to get out together, Fiesta Fun is has great indoor activities. One of the hardest things when we want to watch a movie is deciding which theater to go to with multiple so close.

6. Anything else?             

                 A few other cool things - the utilities are always super low due to a number of things: Dixie Power has some of the lowest costs in the nation, this house is really well insulated, and the size. Also, the fireplace can keep the house warm all day with one fire. It's awesome. Cooling the house is a breeze with the low cost and the brand new A/C will keep you happy for a long time. Outside the ground is super fertile and great for gardening, and there's still room for the kids to play. I've had teenagers ask if they can use our house for birthday parties. There's always so much we can do with the yard.
