The things I love about my town are the spectacular views, great amenities, friendly people, and fabulous weather. We love being surrounded by gorgeous views from every direction. With Pine Valley Mountain to the north, Zion's to the east, huge red rocks to the south and Utah Mountain to the west, we feel truly blessed to live in such a beautiful area. Hurricane is a great place for families with all the amenities you desire but still having a small town feel and with St. George minutes away, we have every convenience at out doorstep. Whether it is shopping, eating, culture, or recreation, we don't have to look for for something new to try out. The people in this area are simply amazing. There is a friendly and helpful energy that flows through Southern Utah. As far as weather, you can't ask for better! Beautiful days and evenings lead to wonderful outdoor adventures.

2. Tell us something about your neighborhood:

 

Our neighborhood is great for families and retirees. With Sand Hollow a mile away, you can boat or swim in the Reservoir, ride your ATV at the sand dunes or enjoy a fun hike and picnic at the park. Located just next to Sand Hollow State Park is an amazing golf course with breathtaking views on the course. Because we are located in a more rural area, the stars are amazing to gaze up to at night. Our neighbors are super friendly and a joy to live near. A perfect place to raise a family or to enjoy the good life!

3. Grocery Stores, Gas Stations, hospitals or any other "conveniences":

 

We have a Walmart conveniently located a few miles away along with 2 close by gas stations. No matter if you need a salon, dry cleaners, gym, florist, bakery or what have you, we are only a 10 minute drive from all the amenities that Hurricane offers. If Hurricane doesn't have what you need, St. George is only 15 minutes away. We love having everything close but still feeling like we have some space. Plenty of movie theaters, tons of great restaurants, great shopping malls, and so much offered thorough community events. There is a local IHC clinic in Hurricane and the Hospital is only 13 miles away.

4. What specifically drew you to the property?

 

We fell in love with the neighborhood immediately and knew we would build our home here. We love this neighborhood and especially love our quite street! The views, location, neighbors and weather are what we enjoy the most. If we weren't moving for a job, we wouldn't be leaving.

5. Hobbies in the area?

 

We love to take our family hiking and repelling. We love having Red Cliffs so close to take the kids on a quick hike, and love having Zion's only 30 minutes away to spend the day outdoors. Southern Utah has so many fabulous parks and trails for any outdoor adventure.

6. Anything else?

 

We love our home, especially our large family area which has been great for family gatherings. We also love how low our power bill is because our power is provided by Dixie Power ( which has the lowest rates in the area).
