1. Things you love about your town:
 
  St. George Temple, adjacent national parks, airport, weather, Dixie State University, many medical facilities for taking good care of your health - dental, eye, doctor, specialists and Dixie Regional Hospital. The property taxes are reasonably low. Services are generally good. Many opportunities for recreational activities for grandchildren. There are splash pads, museums, activity parks, future water park, Family History Library, Temple Visitor's Center and cultural events at Dixie State University and Tuacahn. Of course there are sporting events at the High Schools and Dixie also. There are opportunities to participate in marathons, senior games, soccer tournaments, volleyball tournaments, baseball tournaments and much more. They are often based here most of the year because of the beautiful weather. Before the St. George Tabernacle was closed for construction there were many opportunities for listening to guest speakers, hearing motivational talks, and enjoying the beautiful music of the Southern Heritage Choir.
 
2. Tell us something about your neighborhood:
 
 Our neighborhood is wonderful. It is always kept neat and tidy. The neighbors are friendly and diverse. We have had get togethers and found many neighbors with similar interests. The 5-acre park is 200 feet from our front door. It has a play area for children and a walking path that is 1/3 mile in circumference. There is also a basketball court and 2 pickle ball courts. A covered pavilion is in the planning stages so families can relax and watch children play. The school buses come through the neighborhood making it convenient for children to get to school. The Southern Parkway has made it easy to access the airport, Sand Hollow Reservoir and Zion National Park.
 
3. Grocery Stores, Gas Stations, hospitals or any other "conveniences":
 
  The new Lin's Market and Smith's Marketplace have made shopping even easier than it was when we first arrived in Washington. The new LDS Chapel on 3650 South, Washington, to attend meetings is only about 5 minutes away. The St. George Temple is approximately 15 minutes away. New Elementary, Middle, High School and College Preparatory Schools are being built all around this area. Opening up Mall Drive allowed us to reach the shopping mall, Costco, and gas pumps in about half the time also.
 
4. What specifically drew you to the property?
 
When we first saw the property we were attracted to it because it was a little more rural, great views, and great potential. Stucki Farms is close to many walking trails for hikes and bike riding.
 
5. Hobbies in the area:
 
Stucki Farms has immediate access to running four-wheelers or razors without having to load them up and haul them to start enjoying. Stucki Farms is now in the process of building a pool, with lazy river, a pool house and also a Farm House (which can be used for weddings, receptions, family reunions, etc.). The Farm House is to include a convenience store and sandwich shop. The Cottages at Stucki Farms will continue to be built and will allow opportunities for overnight property rentals.
 
6. Anything else?
 
The reason we bought a home in Stucki Farms was because it was more rural than other subdivisions. After moving in our home, we have been impressed with how quiet our neighborhood is. We live on a corner lot 200 feet from a 5 acre park. Our home has made us feel happy, safe and secure. Our utilities bills are super low because our provider is Dixie Power. Our only reason for selling this home is because Les is a builder in Stucki Farms and we are building a new home for ourselves just across the street from our existing one. We will be your neighbors!
