We recently put in energy saving/noise dampening windows and screens that have cut our energy bill by 15% or about $300 a year. 
The kitchen is very efficient. The garbage is in a pull out slot that is perfect for wiping down the counter top plus it keeps it out of sight. I put in custom dividers for the cutlery and the kitchen tools drawers. These are removable and very effective.
Lots of mature trees that help keep the house cool in the summer. We added two peach trees and an apricot tree. There are grape vines and a pomegranate tree. Great fenced yard for a dog with a dog kennel in back.

We have enjoyed waking up every morning to a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We get to look out our front window and see the beauty of the "Big Red Mountain" of Ivins. We love her moods and changes. Coming home to his house always feels like we are driving into a National Park. Love coming home!!!
When I first moved here I was struck by how lovely it was to wake up to the sound of the morning doves. They are a welcome to the day. We love how many windows there are and how open and flowing the floor plan is. I love how roomy and inviting this house is. Lots of windows to let in the light and views. The yard is the most fantastic yard! The fire pit has been a great place to gather with the grandkids for marshmallow roasts. We have had fun filled Easter egg hunts in the back yard. We can let the grandkids play outside with the fenced yard. Our back yard even hosted a wedding reception for one of our daughters. 
Ivins is a great little town that is growing fast. We have Tuacahn and Snow Canyon as well as petroglyphs to explore. So much to do and see within a short distance. We love Ivins and the people that live here. Our house is located right around the corner from an awesome little market and a Family Dollar across from that for convenience. Not to mention a fuel stop/convenience store and a high end restaurant within walking distance. Just down the street is a wonderful park with a splash pad. Up the street the other way is a burger/yogurt joint. Great schools close by including Tuacahn High School for the Preforming Arts.
So many memories have been created here and we know that there are many more yet to be created by a new family. This is a great house and neighborhood and we will miss it a ton!!!!
