2015 is officially one for the books.  In commercial real estate the trend locally and nationally was very positive.  Below is the year end report link with happenings, vacancies, occupancy, and trends.  Southern Utah did not match the trend in many national markets which saw market rates return to pre-recession values.  However, Southern Utah saw many owner users for new construction and continued strength in both retail and industrial leasing and also construction markets. 

The market continues to show strength are deals are getting more and more competitive and out of area Buyers are looking for a place to invest their funds.  While all local markets improved, the lease rates have yet to reach levels that have gotten investors excited about speculative building- but, could it be coming?  I think that is the big question for this year.
